Collection: Irritation & Redness

People with sensitive skin are often prone to itching, irritation and redness. It's important to be wary of active ingredients like BHA and AHA (chemical peels), vitamin C, and retinol if you have sensitive skin. You should approach these ingredients cautiously.

Even people with non-sensitive skin can react to certain products with irritation and redness. Every skin is unique. Factors such as cold, dry air, sun and stress can put additional strain on our skin. If your skin is irritated and reddened, you should avoid exfoliants and strong active ingredients for the time being. Instead, it's important to keep your skin properly hydrated and repairing the skin barrier. Ceramides, aloe vera, mugwort (mugwort) and centella asiatica (tiger grass) can help with this.

If you suspect a product is causing the irritation, we recommend keeping your skincare routine to a minimum and gradually reintroducing each new product after the discomfort has subsided.
